The Primeau Vélo Racing Team is Canada’s largest women’s cycling team and the only UCI team from Québec! Made up of 9 senior U23 athletes from all corners of the country, the team’s objective is to showcase Canadian talent on the world scene.
Thanks to the amazing tutoring from head coach Christine Gillard, our cyclists stand out in the peloton. A multitude of training camps and sessions help perfect their skills and their form to take their performance to the next level.
Banking on the next generation of athletes, Primeau Vélo Racing Team also fosters the Primeau Vélo development team. Featuring 6 senior athletes and 4 junior athletes, the mission is to help them build experience and confidence through different races to help them progress to higher levels of competition.
Primeau Vélo Racing is more than a simple road cycling team. This team is an inspiring personal development project where self-confidence, dreams and objectives, as well as perseverance and hard work are part of daily life.
Education and schooling are very important to the team’s founders. Therefore, all Primeau Vélo Racing and Primeau vélo Development athletes must be enrolled in a scholar program to be recognized as a team member.
Our athletes are constantly evolving thanks to the support of our sponsors and partners. A big thanks to Primeau Vélo, Trek, Castelli, Langleven Group, Gestion patrimoine financière Banque Nationale / Équipe Guy Côté, Construction Raymond & Fils, Adidas, Shimano, Skratch Labs and Julbo
